2 days in – we really like them. We got the 3000k color and it is really much more of a white color than the incandescent bulbs these replaced. This takes some getting used to. They are very bright and we think we’re going to like them a lot – we love how much less electricity we’re using. The install was great and all of the units worked very well for us. I found the mounting clips easy to use. It took longer to take the old spring-mounted trims down than it did to mount these inside the can…
I purchased these retrofit LEDs for recessed lights that I added to a drop-ceiling basement room. They are super easy to install, by screwing the connector into the existing bulb socket, and then sliding the LED fixture into the recessed canister. I also like these lights for the tiny bit of wattage used to cast 1000 lumens of light. The price is very reasonable compared to what is available at local big box stores. I will buy these again when I change the lighting in our other basement…
