Great light quality, low quality fixture components. The best thing about these is the quality of the light. It’s true 2700K, provides a high CRI, and the light is well diffused in a flood-light manner. The rest of the product is cheap. The housing is thin metal and does not fit flush against the ceiling. The gasket is too thin. As others have noted, the fastener hooks are terrible and make for a hard installation if one of them comes loose. Huge difference, easy to do These made a huge difference in our kitchen and took less than 3 minutes each to install (after we got the hang of it with the first one) We didn’t know such a product existed, I was looking for replacement cans (ours were beige and black) when I happened upon them and decided to take a chance. One of the inspection items when we moved into our house was that the lights in our shower stalls were not wet rated. These solved the inspection issue and converted us to LED for a surprisingly low price. For $12/each I’m thinking of doing the whole house, I would have gladly paid twice as much.
