For the price I am happy with this felt. As others have said hard to stretch but can be done. I ordered the Burgundy nice dark color looks super no one can believe I recovered myself. I seen all the videos on YouTube but still I struggled with this felt it was hard to try to do like the videos. What I found worked best for this felt was tack one end, go to opposite end pull nice and tight in the center and work your way out on to each end, so now you have the two long ends fully stapled down, and now go to either side pull tight and…
Worried at first First, I want to say that I had never re-felted a pool table and was relying solely on YouTube videos for direction. I ordered the 9 foot felt to do a 8 foot table. I wanted the extra length for a just in case. I had plenty to do the table and the rails. However, I imagine that the 8 foot felt would have been a little harder to work with given its greater chance of mistaken measurements and cuts.
