these things work. bye-bye solder! i was skeptical. seeing these style connectors on several listings, all of them with 2 or 3 stars, had me convinced they were gonna be junk, they would break right away, they wouldn’t make a good connection, etc etc. but i’m tired of soldering these tiny wires and then dealing with broken solder joints a few weeks later, so i bought a pack of these to try them out. yep, i’m leaving that solder gun in the junk drawer from now on.so the hardest part of using these is getting the wires…
robust design but aligning wires in the connector was time consuming. I had very high hopes for these, because I really don’t like breathing solder fumes all that much. And on large projects it’s not healthy. The first time I used these, about 18 of them, with 22 gauge stranded wires, I found:1. All of the connections were sound and solid on the first try :)2. The strip side was easy to connect. You need pliers for both sides though.3. The wire side was more much more difficult, trying to line up 3 small wires in exactly the right…
