Our basement drop ceiling uses the large can flood lights that were recently switched from cfl to led lighting. One section of the drop ceiling was taken up the rafters so the basement door could open. This section had no lighting and was always dark. I got this LED recessed light because it only consumes 15 watt while providing 1125 lumens of light, which is about the same as an 120W incandescent lamps. According to the literature?
