Great looking…but… These lights are great looking and not that hard to put up BUT they are a pain to shorten. Each pendant’s cable is really long and the individual lines inside the cable are NOT colored so if you cut them shorter, you will have to strip the pendant light’s sheath back and trace each line individually in order to find out which is the ground or the hot…that or cram a crap ton of wire up into your ceiling. If you have a little bit of electrical experience or a little common sense, it’s not that…
Great product Adjusting the length of the cords is a huge pain, (have to tie knots to keep them in place, and the cords are pretty thick and bulky, hard to manipulate, hard to align perfectly to each other).My package was also previously opened – the styrofoam box was broken on one of the shades and the bubble wrap was missing. I didn’t think too much of it at first but then later i noticed the shade had a scratch and a also 1/3″ long clear streak (as in the opaque “pattern” didn’t cover…
I deducted one star because it’s kind of a pain to shorten the cords, and that is what you are going to have to do unless you have 18 foot high ceilings. The cords are way longer than what is pictured. I had electricians install it while I was at work, and the fellows left the cords at the same length that they came — they are so long that the pendants were ON the table. I had to loop and zip tie the cords because pulling the fixture back out of the ceiling and redoing the work started to seem…
