Great fan that won’t light up your room I’m happy with the fan itself. It’s whisper quiet and it looks nice while moving plenty of air. I’ve had cheaper fans that rattled slightly in the past, so a fan that moves air while being completely silent is a 5 star fan in itself.I question the design of the light kit on this fan, though. Why, why, WHY does Casablanca only put two light outlets in it? There’s room for 4 light sprockets underneath the glass dome – why do they only provide two sprockets? Even three would be better…
Great fan, and better yet — great light
Love this fan! Runs very quiet. My husband installed it following the manufacturer’s directions; however, the first time around he didn’t tuck in or tied the cables inside the metal cover (where the motor goes) and when he finished and tried it the first time it was making a weird noise. We thought it was wobbling, but after trying to fix it with the blade-balancing kit, we realized it was something else. The noise was coming from the motor inside.
