Came with no instructions and coated in flammable oil. The description says this is made with metal and glass. There is no glass, it’s more like plastic. And the seams look like they were done by a child. Worse, there weren’t any instructions in the box. And the shade was covered with liquid oil. don’t buy it Just what we were looking for. I read the other reviews about the oil. When it came to remove it from the packaging to install the light, I filled the sink with warm water and Dawn dish soap and washed it inside and out. I could smell oil but really didnât see any. The shade cleaned up just fine. The instructions could have been a little clearer, especially the part where the center pole connects to the ceiling plate. As many people have noted, the instructions are terrible. They were clearly very poorly translated and the illustrations are small enough that you can barely tell which parts they’re referring to.If that had been the only problem, I would have gotten over it, but the design of the light itself is awful. It’s very difficult to install and we found it impossible to adjust the height from the electrical box to the base plate of the lamp enough to get it to sit flat on the ceiling. The…
