60Hz flicker is annoying. I’ve installed two of these, one of which is on a dimmer (lutron LED/CFL dimmer). They work fine, and the dimmer works fine. My gripe is that they flicker. Not enough for me to notice when I’m just looking at the room, but something moves through the room (like a dog, etc.) it looks like it is walking in front of a CRT monitor with a 60Hz refresh rate. like a panel of little lights It’s bright, I got the warm white and still got “flashbulb effect” when I pre-tested it on the carpet. Saw spots for a bit. If you have box with 3 1/2″ bolt holes spaced throw away the shiny adaptor plate, it’s just in the way, only good for odd sized, older boxes or conduit style squares.
