1. In case of power failure, the timer will go back to the off state and need to be reset to the desired operating mode Once power is restored.
2. In order to avoid the water into the outlets, The timer should be mounted in a vertical position with the outlets facing downward and at least 2Ft above the ground level. If you can make sure the water does not enter the outlets or use it indoor, please ignore the request.

EXCELLENT TIMER This timer is an excellent product. It is well built with a heavy cord so it should withstand the weather rather well. I appreciate its definition of “dusk” and unlike some of the other timers I have, it does not come on too early. The unit can be completely controlled via the remote and the remote does work! This is a terrific switch I purchased this remote switch to control the string lights around my back yard. I use it every day, click on, click off. It is also capable of dawn to dusk functionality with its light sensor, but I don’t leave my string lights on all night.
