Good product, Great service! These arrived faster than expected, so I jumped into the installation. The lights feel good quality, metal housing, with spring clips to hold them into the hole. I installed these on the step of a detached pergola deck. Had a little trouble with the install as most of the connections had to be made blind (due to limited crawling space under the deck) and when I turned them on for the first time, only two of them worked. I emailed the seller at 19:00 on a Sunday night describing my problem…
You’re gonna like these lights! (P.S. I would love to have some Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, snap on covers for Christmas time!) The only thing the manufacturer needs to do is state the distance between lights in the product description. It is about 3 feet. They do say in the schematic that there needs to be no more than 3 meters between lights and between the controller and the first light. There are extension cables available on Amazon in differing lengths if you need to space the lights out. The manufacturer assured me that these connections and wires can be buried in the dirt. Very nice small lights for outdoor steps I ordered these for a flight of outdoor wooden steps, to be installed on the risers. The lights are small and unobtrusive (but pretty enough),, and give the appropriate amount of light for this application. They were easy enough to install if you can drill the correct-sized hole in your risers.
