Used – not *new* – sold as new for new price Although sold as new for new price, this product was delivered in a used condition. It was in what looked like original packing but there were clear indications that this fan had been installed already. The power wires were twisted into wire nuts already and they had electrical tape residue on it. Also, there were several small nuts that were missing. Had some problems at the beginning. Installed as soon as I received it. Pairong the remote was really easy, no problems there. 30 minutes after it started working it developed a horrible scratching metal noise. Read instructions, said give it 48 hours to go away. It didn’t go away and got worse. This all time it blows air like a champ. Long story short, 4 days later I had to dissasemble the motor cover to discover a wire was touching the moving part of the motor and creating a vibration that would make the cover sound like…
