Worth the money Excellent fan, with much higher CFM rating than similarly priced fans at big box stores. I used this fan on a screened porch to replace a smaller fan with drooping blades and peeling paint, that apparently was not for humid, outdoor use. I used the short downrod included with the kit, which provided 11.5 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the fan blades (the switch housing was 0.5 inches lower). Instructions were straight-forward, and no problems were encountered during the installation…
