These work as fans are suppose to So a lot of reviews say it doesn’t push air. Both of the fans I bought has the switch set to winter mode or “updraft” out of the box. These are easy to install if you’re savvy with electricity. Took me about a hour and a half to install and put blades together. It has the short extension and the capability to ceiling mount. Wrong fan sent.
In proper configuration, hardly any air movement. Bought this fan because we are believers in Honeywell products, even against the negative reviews. It came, it was installed and sure enough, hardly any air movement. The fan came in down draft mode, not updraft, but tried the fan in both configurations. The fans just don’t push much air. I believe it’s because of the blade design. Wish honeywell could design blades for this fan in the same style/shape/look that didn’t have the ridges on the blades that hinder air movement. Extremely…
