Chainless ceiling fan After getting the fan home and getting a standard downrod, I found myself at an impasse. The downrod and the downrod adapter are the same size. Therefore you can’t thread them together. My advise is finding a different fan. The company was no help and recommended me buy a specific downrod which still didn’t work. Save your time and effort and either a) buy a different fan or b) don’t use a downrod. Nowhere in the description or installation guide does it tell you that standard downrods won’t…
