Great as long as you choose the right bulbs… This is my third Hunter fan. I bought it for our guest bedroom which we use as child-room. That room had no light and was getting pretty hot for a few months in the summer so buying this was a solution that addressed both issues.My room is 110 square feet with the longest side being 12.5 feet. Great fan. Very quiet. I live in a very old building and the apartment below me had an old ceiling fan that sounded like a leaf blower. It was mounted on their ceiling which meant that when they had it on high, I could actually feel my floor vibrate. So I bought them this fan as a gift because I truly couldn’t hear myself think.
