It came with a remote I didn’t want to use because my fan was already wired for two switches at the wall (one lights and one fan) and I rally wanted to use wall controls. The instructions provided no guidance on how to wire the fan with out the receiver for the remote included, so I had to spend some time figuring that out. It was easy enough in the end. Dim bulbs? Maybe itâs not the light? Iâve owned Hunter fans for over 30yrs and had them on remotes for nearly as long! The installation is straight forward and the remote install is has its been for nearly 20yrs now (at least.) The receiver slides/hides within the gap above the pivot ball and the top of the ceiling bracket. Itâs a bit bigger than a deck of cards.
