Horrible customer service for a simple replacement. Three of the chrome nuts and screws which hold the blades together were defective. The screw was too short to allow a proper grip on the nut part. Called customer service which was as horrible as the wait. To send the replacement units (probably averaging less than $2.00), we had to speak to three different representatives, and make two separate calls. They demanded that pictures of all angles of the fan be sent, plus a picture of the sticker on the fan and a copy of the proof of purchase in…
A great fan as long as you don’t need it to move air I love Hunter ceiling fans, have installed several over the years, and will only buy Hunter fans in the future. The motors are quiet and they last forever. I’ve never had to replace Hunter fan because it was worn out. Contrast this with junk fans like Harbor Breeze. If you’re going to go to the trouble of installing a ceiling fan, spend an extra twenty bucks and get something that will last.Unfortunately, this fan was a big disappointment.
