This remote features separate buttons for three fan speeds plus an “instant off” button, as well as full-range light dimming and manual light operation with wall switch access plate. This remote can auto detect to switch between incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs. The 99119 comes with a wall cradle for the handheld remote control.

I bought this remote to go with a Hunter ceiling fan without a light for my basement family room. It is also our guest room, so if someone is sleeping there, they can easily use the remote and not have to get up to use a switch or pull chain.
