Great for use with a wall switch – Not so if you plan on using the pull chains to control your fan This fan is very easy to install if you have a series 5 Hunter fan. It will also fit many other models. However, be aware that you may have a problem if you plan on using a pull chain rather than a wall switch to operate your fan motor.I installed this unit on a series 5 Hunter fan with pull chain control but found that the narrow space between the motor pull switch and the top of this unit prevented clean operation of the ability to control the fan motor.
