Just Installed It…. I have a townhouse condo that I have been in since new in the 80s. Not a ton of cosmetic upgrades. Good specs and an easy installation lead to a great value, but 3000K is pretty white, and it’s definitely *not* instant-on I bought the 3000K version of this fixture to replace a broken fixture with standard incandescent bulbs in my closet. The installation was fairly straight-forward, and the Hyperikon works as advertised. I will say that at 3000K the light is whiter than I would like, and I was surprised that there was such a noticeable difference between 3000K and 2700K (which is supposed to be the same color as incandescent) – but it’s a closet so it’s not that big of a deal (but I would not consider an…
