Jandorf Kit Fan Balancing

Probably want to get more than one of these. I recently bought a new house where the previous owner hadn’t done much upkeep. One of the problems was the fan in the bedroom; it moved so much I thought it would eventually come loose and fall on us in our sleep. I went ahead and picked up three of these with the anticipation of fine tuning the other fans in the house but found an alternative benefit. The clip weighs less than the stick on weights! Whaaaat? This kit definitely helped but is not 100% accurate. The “U” clip that you use to check which blade and location id less weight than the weights that come with the kit. I happened to measure each and got 2.8g on the clip and the weights were marked 5g and were pretty close to that.
