I only needed the remote but this came with the receiver too which was a waste but the remote was very easy to hookup Very convenient way to control our new ceiling fan in our master bedroom. Also solved a problem we’ve had since we bought this house 2 years ago — the light switch for the bedroom was on the right side of the door as you enter the room, not on the left where you would expect it to be (and where it was in our last house). We mounted this on the left side, and just keep the light switch on the right side “on.”My only complaint is the light control — sometimes it doesn’t…
We have Kichler ceiling fan/lights installed throughout our home. They’re all the same model and all have the same remote that was installed with them.
