Simple fixture doesn’t color light. This fixture installed easily in place of an old fixture that was very similar but had a brass color and a yellowed globe. I prefer Kichler fixture because the globe is a neutral white and the foil reflector behind the bulbs is silver, so overall it casts a much more neutral light. The fixture includes a very thick bed of insulation. You’ll probably have to remove some in order for the screws to reach the mounting bracket.
