Absolute pain to install, but lovely when finished! This light is an absolute pain to put up. If you are going to buy this fixture, do yourself a favor BEFORE you attempt to install it: go to your local hardware store and buy replacement screws and a CROSS BAR mounting bracket. The screws that are included strip out if you even look at them the wrong way, and the single bar mounting bracket that is provided makes this fixture darn near impossible to put up, even with two people. Quality for a lot less than a similar one seen elsewhere! Perfect–just what we wanted for this space. Renovating (hence the dirty floors) and wanted a quality modern fixture for a large bedroom (171″ x136″ in this main part of the room.) I think we may add a dimmer. With 10 40-watt LED Edisons, it illuminates well while not overpowering the room, but it would be nice to be able to adjust, should the situation dictate.
