Doesn’t handle humidity so well I’ve had this a few months now and it’s working perfectly. I have it hung on the underside of my porch roof so it’s not directly exposed to the weather and I honestly don’t think I would recommend it for places where it will get rained / snowed on. I’m sure it will be able to handle the ambient moisture / cold / heat from being outside but I don’t think it would last long if you plan on mounting it directly in the elements – at least not unless you do some slight modifications to it like using…
Great light, however the motion sensor is overly sensitive resulting in this chewing up batteries very quickly. I use rechargeable batteries on these but I had one set of that were totally killed by this. The batteries were brand new out of the pack, charged them, put them in this light and in less than 2 weeks the batteries were totally dead and were completely unable to be charged after. Have a new set in it now same type and brand and they seem to be working a bit better but die way quicker…
I LOVE these lights. I have a beautiful fixture over my front door, but instead of keeping on all night, I just rely on the motion sensor light to turn on when it’s needed. I’m installing one outside the dog door so I don’t have to leave a light on for the pup’s at night, and I’m also putting one in my basement stairway. Basically, if you need light in a space only when you’re in it, and you just need enough light to see where you’re going, these are the answer. Anything I can do to cut…
