Product was as described and good quality. However
While I do think this kit is about $15 too much for what it is, it is so much better than the Westinghouse version. It’s also more universal. DO NOT USE THE SELF TAPPING SCREWS. I wasted a good hour trying to use the self-tapping screws that came with it. Just get a metal bit and drill a hole. As soon as I did that, it took 15 minutes to install the rest. I did that with the second light I had to convert and the entire process (including installing the replacement light) too maybe 20 minutes…
Instructions could state to take the adjustable ends off after marking the holes and installing them separately to later install the 3 prong main section afterwards. That makes the install a lot easier plus higher quality self drilling screws would be a bonus.Price is considerably higher than Westinghouse’s version, but WH doesn’t work to keep the light centered for anything over 4″ light, where this product does. So a 6″ can replacement will keep the new pendant light…
