Not exactly cheap at $10.00 but does exactly what it should This is a really nice product that offers adequate protection for bare bulbs. Very easy to install, and very sturdy once mounted. I have read in other reviews where people said they weren’t sure it could take direct hits from a basketball. Maybe not if the ball is thrown right at it. Mom always said, “don’t play ball in the house.” If your basement sees this kind of use, you need to buy the metal cage fixture that is much sturdier, but also MUCH more expensive!
