works fine, pretty bright This light bar is fine. It is not as sturdy as a track light I bought over 20 years ago, but seems adequate for its purpose. There’s just a lot more plastic in this new track light. It’s amazing how much light one can get from such a low wattage lamp. The wife likes the goose egg heads! There is not a lot of variety in small affordable LED track lights for the home. My wife likes the style of these “goose eggs” and so far I have installed six of these kits (standalone, connected at angles with adapters found at a big orange store, and using a wall plug/switch adapter).They are fairly easy to install if they are going over a standard depth ceiling box. Bright light with nowhere near the heat produced when compared to Halogen bulbs We have an open joist design in our condo. I bought several of these track lights and love them. In the kitchen we placed them between the joists and in the living room we have one track on the bottom of the joist in front of the fireplace. The LED lights are bright and produce nearly no heat, unlike our previous Halogen light track light we had previously. This is such an improvement.
