Nice esthetic, terrible execution. This product looks great up, but suffers from poor design and problems with the build quality. I had three significant issues with the design and build quality.First, the fixture is designed so that the globe is suspended on three rods with hooks on both ends, that engage rings on the fixture and the interior of the globe. The rods that shipped were so short that the it was just possible to hook up all three rods. With the globe installed on these short rods, it was impossible to…
Poor execution I agree with Res Ipsa, good idea, poor execution.Our package arrived with one long and two short rods to attach the globe to the fixture. The long rod barely reaches, the two short ones didn’t. Called Livex Lighting, who told me to contact Amazon (while my contractor fiddles his thumbs.)I wish Livex stood behind their products. Livex has offered to sell me more rods, but throwing more money and more time at the problem isn’t my idea of a good customer experience…
