Item received as pictured, metal base looks better than original plastic units, but not as advertised – Same size so it will fit I received two of the âLumitronics Surface Mount Porch Scare Lightâ today. Look decent enough, butâ¦The package label says “LUMITRONICS, LUM-ICL51, 7″ Ceiling Dome-SS”. That is not what was advertised!? I checked the unit against the “Scare Light” I was replacing on my 2006 Rockwood 5th wheel trailer. The measurements are virtually identical so at least it will fit. Time will tell if this was supposed to be an indoor light fixture and the plastic is not intended for UV…
Decent price, look nice, exact match with old screw holes I am very satisfied with these scare lights for the money.I replaced the four side lights on an old Carriage RV. The holes lined up. They are almost twins to the 20+ year old originals. Bases looked the same, lens covers slightly different but very similar. Comes with screws and wire nuts and some basic but functional foam gaskets. The lights are reasonably bright but I swapped out the bulbs with LED bulbs for energy savings and a bit more light. My old lights were not functional so…
