DO NOT USE WITH Compact Florescent bulbs. This fan/light control solved a couple of problems for me. First, the lights on the fan unit are non-dimmable LEDs so the On/Off for the switch is necessary. Second, the space for the electrical is too narrow to fit a double box for individual switch and fan speed. This control is the only one I could find that has the desired functions fit in a single unit. Finally able to get rid of the hanging chains (ceiling is 10 feet). Easy to install with basic tools.
