Beautiful Pendant Lamps, Some Caveats Gorgeous if you are looking for a modern style lamp. I bought three. There are a few drawbacks:1. There is no down rod. The lamp hangs by the cord, which looks cheap to me (I posted a photo with and without and trust me the difference is more striking in person.) This would have been a deal breaker, but I just bought a 6′ stainless steel tube, cut it in 3 equal pieces and made 3 stainless down rods. They look great and match perfectly. The best pendants! We’ve received so many compliments on these
