Outstanding Value!!! I needed to replace 8 fans that have deteriorated over the years. My criteria was they need to be contemporary, small motor and have LED lighting. I have a bunch of Haiku fans in another location so I am well versed on what a $1000 fan is. While these are definitely not of the quality of the Haiku fans they have a few things in common. Run 24 hours straight to get rid of hum I wanted to write this review to address the hum that many people are complaining about. The reviews made me question purchasing this fan. Once installed and I turned on, I really started to regret it. Sure enough, there was the hum that people were talking, and it boy was it loud!Well after coming back to read the reviews here, I noticed some people mentioned running the fan for 24 hours to get rid of the hum. Excellent fan. I’ve installed two Excellent fan. I’ve installed two, and keep ordering them for friends and family. Very easy installation, although I would prefer that the pictures in the instructions be a bit more detailed. The remote is large and easy to use. I’ve added a wall remote to both of the ones I’ve put in. This fan is gorgeous, very modern. It throws a huge amount of air, due to the curved blades.
