Run 24 hours straight to get rid of hum I wanted to write this review to address the hum that many people are complaining about. The reviews made me question purchasing this fan. Once installed and I turned on, I really started to regret it. Sure enough, there was the hum that people were talking, and it boy was it loud!Well after coming back to read the reviews here, I noticed some people mentioned running the fan for 24 hours to get rid of the hum. Outstanding Value!!! I needed to replace 8 fans that have deteriorated over the years. My criteria was they need to be contemporary, small motor and have LED lighting. I have a bunch of Haiku fans in another location so I am well versed on what a $1000 fan is. While these are definitely not of the quality of the Haiku fans they have a few things in common.
