Very bright gold! This is a very nice, high quality fixture for the price, and very much resembles much more expensive light fixtures in terms of style. However, while the finish appears to be a brushed brass-like gold color in the picture, it is actually a very bright, brushed gold that is quite garish, depending upon your style and whether you are trying to blend it with other brass or antique gold fixtures. Fantastic light, even better than the pictures! I purchased this light for a front entry hallway just inside the front door. I wanted a smaller profile light that wouldn’t look too large with the front door completely open. The front door is mahogany with oil rubbed bronze hinges and oil rubbed bronze decorative glass skylights. This light looks absolutely perfect in this setting and matches the front door very well!
