Best landscape light connectors I have run across
These work great BUT you will likely need to add a step if using thicker gauge/walled wire. They attached the wires very securely but it seems like the barbs that are meant to pierce the wire are not long enough to go through thick walled lines (though labeled for). They go through the wire for the lights fine but for the power lines I needed to scrape away some of the wire coating (TURN OFF THE POWER FIRST) before clamping down the connectors. Disappointing. The connector has three slots of varying sizes from larger to smaller, which does not make much sense to me. No slot will not properly fit a 12 gauge wire, and if you are trying to connect two 14 gauge wires you run into trouble too because there are no two slots of that same size that will fit that wire. It would make more sense for the manufacturer to provide a variety of connectors with at least two slots that fit wires of the equal size. That way one can select a connector…
