Loose mount system – – Better w/ DIY Fix Pros: Cost and quantity, the lights and receivers work well, came with many carrying cases for everything but the lights.Cons:This is the biggest problem with the whole setup. The Light mount doesn’t keep the light in a fixed position. I learned this after using it the very first time, the light will slowly droop downwards until your light is pointing at the ground. Good and bad Well… The strobes themselves are nice. The stands are nice. The flash trigger is junk, very unreliable. The softboxes are nice and well designed but they are way too small. Also, the kit I purchased was missing one of the modeling lamps. So… I can’t even begin to use my new purchase until I get a flash trigger that works, bigger softboxes, and find a replacement for the modeling lamp. So far I’d recommend the Neewer S-400N strobes, but you may be better off purchasing them…
Everything is perfect This is the package that will last you a lifetime! The strobes and stands are really nice! The trigger is very reliable and wirelessly works with my canon 70D. The soft boxes are ginormous! I didn’t think the shape would matter much but these are so much better for lighting compared to the regular square boxes. These give a wider spread of light and really enhance the softness of the bursts from the flash. Everything is fairly easy to put together. The stands hold everything all together really…
