Great ceiling light I purchased 2 of these, 1 for my master closet and 1 for the master bath. They look really nice and are just as pictured. They were easy to install, although I did have a professional electrician install it for safety reasons. The glass is a nice frosted color that still allows for adequate light to shine through. We liked this style so much in brushed nickel that we ordered another in vintage bronze for a different bathroom. A more accurate color description is simply brown with slightly lighter rubbed edges. This fixture is easy to install, well made and the lights can be positioned either up or down. The auburn beige glass shades are very attractive, aren’t too dark, and provide nice contrast.
