Doomed to Fail (I have had 4 of these lamp heads fail due to a cheap plastic part breaking) These track lights were installed by the builder in my new home. While I like the design and appearance of these track lights, the base (the black cubic area that connects to the track) is made of cheap plastic which breaks (fractures). The solution to change a Halo track light system to full dimmable LED. NO instructions for use. Used common sense and after a horrendous time got these to work. This was place in a Halo track system. I used M16 GU10 LED bulbs and got them to dim nicely using a DIVA sliding dimmer.The reason I bought this was that I needed to eliminate the original transformer units when I wanted to have dimmable LED.
