You MUST know this before buying these track lights This is a fantastic track light for the price, but you’ve got to know a few things going in. Here they are1) This track comes with an endplate/cover for a ceiling box. almost perfect… I’ve installed 8 of these tracks to replace flourescent tube lights with non-toxic energy saving LED bulbs. I tried the LED replacement tubes but they are expensive and the light is too blue (5000f). The Par 30 LED bulbs I use from Kobi Electric are about 3000f and cast a nice warm light; they’re dim-able too. each bulb is twice the cost of this track light kit. The bulbs last a lifetime and draw 12 watts and are bright; they cast the light of a 75 watt bulb or more. I’ve mounted up to 5 cans…
