You MUST know this before buying these track lights This is a fantastic track light for the price, but you’ve got to know a few things going in. Here they are1) This track comes with an endplate/cover for a ceiling box. Worked Very Well I do not know why the one reviewer said that these could not be mounted directly to the ceiling. That is nonsense. They have holes and include toggle bolts specifically for that purpose. I can only assume the reviewer was just clueless about installation or maybe his kit was missing parts. Even so, one can drill new holes and use your own screws as long as they have heads flat enough to clear the light head bases.Then there was the reviewer who could not get the lights to work but…
Great product: looks good, hardware is functional, installation is straightforward I bought 3 of the gimbal sets (9 lights total) for the bedroom. They seem just fine to me. They are much less expensive than some other brands, and although some reviewers found them flimsy, it would be a waste to make them stronger since they look fine and aren’t likely to take a beating (usually they sit up high, and once mounted they’ll be touched very seldom except for dusting and changing bulbs).The units came with instructions, which I essentially didn’t read since the…
