Installation of the actual tracks is pretty easy. Choice of screws (directly into wood) The actual kit comes ready to install in a ceiling electrical box. Instruction are NOT included if you do not want to install in the ceidling box. If you want to install without the ceiling box, you must purchase the SATCO “Live End Cord Kit” (item number TP156 (white) or TP157 (black). Nuvo Brushed Aluminum Track Lighting I want to express my very pleasant experience on a self-install of a total of 8 of these, using two BLACK T- and X-Connectors with 3x 2′ extensions. I used T-Bar Clips on my suspended ceiling.Track required cutting, and it cuts very well. Needed to drill to expand the holes to pass the clip bolts.
