Efficient light on demand I can’t say enough about this wonderful product. These lights are almost too bright to look directly at. I have them lighting my workshop on a 3′ x 3′ grid. The 12 of them put out 6,600 lumens. In my case, that’s an extra 33 lumens/SF. I installed them myself–everything from the instructions to the hole template was perfect. The instructions suggest that you cut the hole, reach in for power, then hook up the supplied junction box, but I was able to wire before drywall, so I wired the junction…
Cons:Spectrum of light is not true to description. 3000K is a ‘warm’ and comfortable tone of light, sort of like the incandescent lighting of the past. These are a weak version of a blue-ish / white, similar to a cheap LED headlamp.Weak output.
