Clean, beautiful white light for less money I am amazed with the Philips PAR30L. This top-quality, dimmable indoor/outdoor light bulb is a vast improvement compared to before, producing clean, beautiful white light for less money.I really hope you take a moment to view the image I’ve attached. On the left is the legacy halogen bulb. On the right is the new Philips PAR30L bulb. As you can plainly see, the old bulb casts a yellowish light whereas the Philips on the right is pure bright white. What a difference!As if…
When they say short they mean short. I needed two hands to screw these in, one to hold it up into the socket and the other to turn it. The face ended up two inches back from the face of the recessed fixture. It did not cause any lighting problems but if you want the bulb face to be even with the face of the fixture, get the longer bulbs. Previously we had been using CF bulbs, which took time to heat up and give maximum light, these come on full brightness right from the start. My main…
