Different than other retrofit LEDs, but work well These lights are a little different than other recessed lighting retrofit fixtures. First off these change color as they’re dimmed becoming warmer (more yellow) the further they’re dimmed. Compared to other LED recessed lights I have, these have a broader range becoming a little dimmer than others I have on the same dimmer switch. Beautiful color light, very slight hum, product photo shows a 6.5″ diameter which is wrong 5 Stars for the lights, but I took away one star because the product description was wrong when I ordered and still is as I write this three weeks later. I originally ordered these because the product photo (when I ordered and as I write this) shows the diameter of the rim to be 6.5″. Very interesting way to replace your light bulbs I have recessed lighting in my basement with a dimmable switch, but no dimmable bulbs. So when the opportunity to install these came through my vine list, I decided to give it a shot. They are SUPER easy to install; you just screw in one end where your light bulb would go; then you push this bad boy up into the recessed light and it will ‘click’ in.
