Installs easily, works well. This replaced a vintage mid-90s fan after I broke a blade bracket and discovered the manufacturer no longer existed. I like this one much better anyway; it was easy to install, and doesn’t come down from the ceiling much more than the old one that didn’t have a light. Works as I expected Installed nice and easy, I had hoped it would be just a little smaller(shorter) as far as the distance from the celling to the bottom of the light. We have a very low celling in this one room but needed more light in the room, the light is a soft light, not a blinding light, its our computer room and I had hoped it would not put a glare on the monitors from being too bright, it doesn’t. Simple yet elegant It seems this is one of the few affordable black coloured ceiling fans out there, and it’s better looking up close than in pictures. Installation was simple and straightforward taking about 30 minutes from mounting to light globe install. No noticeable wobble so we didn’t use the included balance weights. Many wobble conditions in ceiling fan installs is due to poor fixture receptacle mounting, IMHO. We’ll see if, as in some other apparent cases, the light bulb annihilates itself, but I doubt…
