Good value but beware the down rod mount will make it hang lower For the price, this ceiling fan is a handsome addition to our home. Installation required a medium skill level and took my husband about 1.5 hours for total installation (not including old fan removal). It is quiet and feels like it is of decently high quality. Beware, this unit ONLY has downrod mount. We did not realize this, as many fans can be flush mounted or “hung” with the downrod. I will just live with it on my 8′ ceilings. Quiet running ceiling fan. Moves a lot of air. Lights up a room and cools it down.. 🙂 Simple to install.
