Light looks nice minus problem with chain link leading to not-so-nice looking chain ends A little strange having the light bulb completely exposed, but now that we’ve had a few days to get used to that we really like it. The design is exactly what we were looking for to update the entry way of our house. The product came exactly as described, well packaged and we got it hung in about 10 minutes. My only complaint is that the metal chain that came included was very very hard to bend. We needed to shorten the chain and it was very hard to open and close the links to do so and…
The light fixture itself it nice and as expected. I was very disappointed with the chain link ends. You end to adjust the chain link based on the length you want by prying open the links and removing the other portion. This was fine. The issue is that the links are hard to open (need pliers) and this process scratches up the rubber coating. It is pretty much impossible to close the links once the light is hung so two links remain slightly open and scratched around the opening.I…
I had this fixture installed on my front balcony. During hurricane Maria over Puerto Rico, the 155 mph winds of the eye wall blew it hard and it hit the concrete ceiling on numerous occasions, the bulb even flew away. After the storm, the fixture was intact, hardly any scratches, no parts were bent or broken and it still worked after the electricity was re-established (43 days later), even the bulb that flew away (Hue wireless bulb) was found and it works.
