Simple Wireless Switch Kit: Move or add a light switch in any location! Use this Self-Powered Rocker Switch with Controlling Receiver for lights, LED, ceiling fans, fixtures, and other electronics.
Are you a regular homeowner who wants to move your light switch?
Add a new light switch easily with a Simple Wireless Switch Kit. Install switch without pulling new wires or ripping through walls.
A Simple Wireless Switch Kit includes one Single Rocker Self-Powered, Battery-Free Wireless Switch and one 3-Wire RF Receiver.
The receiver is simply wired between the power and the light, then stored in the light box behind the fixture. Mount the switch anywhere with industrial tape or screws, or replace a current switch.
Use to relocate a switch to a new location, add a wall switch to a pull-chain light, or use anywhere else you may need to add a switch.
Pre-linked: Switch and Receiver are shipped to you already linked together for a quicker installation. (However, the switch is designed to control an unlimited number of linked receivers that are in range, and one receiver can respond to up to 30 wireless remote light switches).
Multiple units may be used in the same home without interference. Unique radio frequency won’t interfere with other devices. Receiver requires AC input. Range of switch is 50-150 feet (typical), depending on walls and barriers in the way. We recommend testing the distance of the switch before completing the switch installation.
The Simple Wireless Switch Kit is intended for indoor use; a receiver or switch installed on an outdoor light will need protection from the elements.

Installation was easy and took about 30 minutes. I placed the receiver/control device inside the ceiling electrical box. The switch module was placed on a wall near the door.It worked first try but after about two hours of being on the light went out. Hitting the switch…
